Alsina&Sarda
The
history of Cavas Alsina&sarda is the history
of three generations bound to the land. Wine growers
since the XVIII century... our Ą°Ca LĄŻaviĄ± country
estate, located in the heart of the Alt Penedes,
3 km away from Sant Sadurni DĄŻanoia and 8 Km from
Vilafranca del Pendes, and Ą°Masia FontalladaĄ±
in Olerdola, Alt Penedes, with a total area of
40 Has., an example of an explotation which is
equipped with the most up-to-date agrarian technology.
The marketing of our specialised wines began in
1962, as did our outstanding coupages reserved
for cava. . The elaboration and the marketing
of cava began in 1980, at the Ą°Ca LĄŻAviĄ± family
residence, with our present facilities being acquired
in 1985, when our market expansion was also undertaken.
Our production capacity, with a maxium of 1.000.000
bottles per annum, is currently operating at 50%,
which enables us to control the quality throughout
the whole process, from wine to cava.
All our efforts, our technique , and our Ą°ArtĄ±,
understood as parts of the productive process,
have one single aim... to befriend our client,
and to pamper our customer, allowing him to enjoy
Ą°the pleasure of drinking artĄ±.

Cava
Alsina Sarda Brut
Light yellow, with a rich, delicate bouquet
and fresh apple flavours. Very easy to drink
and a wonderfully refreshing wine for summer.

Pale yellow colour, with abundant
fresh, sweet-scented fruit aromas. A refreshing
palate, pleasant and smooth flavors with
a slight hint of honey on the tongue. |

Cava Alsina Sarda Gran Reserva Brut 2007
Macabeo, and Parellada Xarel.lo. Straw yellow, fine and delicate bubble well integrated with slow detachment notes of syrup and some memories of almonds. Structured on the mouth with good persistence and a good final memory. |
