Chateau Les Gauries de Caplong is a petit chateau
that stands out from the rest. Located in south-east
Bordeaux, Chateau Les Gauries de Caplong has a
total of 60 Ha of vineyards comprised of 40% Cabernet
Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc.
The soil type is mainly clay-limestone with many
of the plots receiving maximum sun exposure on
south facing slopes. Always soft, the wines are
packed with cassis fruit and made to be enjoyed
early.

Carolins 2007 (Golden Label)
This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon
and Merlot. A charming deep red/purple color,
with an attractive aroma of blackcurrant,
blackberry and chocolate. Strong tannins,
medium acidity, velvety smooth body, good
balance and a long finish. A great match for
red meat. |

The
wine is a blend Cabernet Sauvignon 40%,
Merlot 35%, Cabernet Franc 25%, ruby in
color with delicate nose, notes of matured
fruits, delicate spice, very well balanced
with integrated tannins.
