Domaine Saint Remy
Since 1725, the
love of the vine has been passed down from one
generation to the next in the Ehrhart family.
Born into a family of well-known wine-growers,
Fran?ois Ehrhart has strived for excellence by
developing his vineyard on the best slopes and
has passed on his know-how and experience to his
son, the current master of the vineyard. Philippe
perpetuates this passion and offers fine, elegant,
refined and renowned wines.
The various soils in the Domaine Saint-R¨¦my are
perfectly suited to the grape varieties planted
there. Bathing in life-giving sunshine, the slopes
of the Domaine Saint-R¨¦my overlook the Alsace
plain. Philippe Ehrhart has grown wine here in
total harmony with nature since 1999. This organic
and sustainable wine-growing practice infuses
life and quality into wines produced in an excellent
environment. To that end, the vineyard is the
subject of permanent care and the work is adapted
to each type of soil.

Domaine Saint Remy Rosenberg Gewurztraminer 2010
Gewurztraminer claims the largest single share of acreage chez Ehrhart, and his 2009 Gewurztraminer Rosenberg, delivers pure fruit character, suggestions of chalky terroir, and lovely aromas of rose petal, sweet pea, and smoked meats. Subtle sweetness supports this wine’s perfumed persistence.

Domaine
Saint Remy Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Hengst
2009
AOC Alsace Grand Cru designates a selected
vineyard site and endows the wine with its
own specific character, expression and authenticity.
Wine Enthusiast "Rich scents of Asian
spice and candied orange peel set the scene
for powerful flavors of white pepper. Turkish
delight and rose water. The lush palate has
quite a bit of sweetness, but not too much
to serve with dinner, particulary if you are
cooking Thai food.

DomaineSaint Remy Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg 2009
This is restrained and finely balanced wine. Its delicate stone fruit and citrus notes gain complexity from a subtle, insistent stoniness, a character derived from the site’s sandy, siliceous soil. The slight sweetness is managed well, and the flavors persist with length and poise. Paired well with citrus fruits and spices scampi.
