Hollick Vineyard
Hollick Wines is a small family owned winery in Coonawarra, South Australia. Ian and Wendy Hollick purchased a piece of grazing land on the southern end of the Coonawarra district in 1974. Coonawarra soil is the classic Terra Rossa over limestone, providing excellent drainage and the right balance of nutrients, the ideal medium for vine growth and production of high quality fruit. Hollick strives to produce wines of distinction that are a true expression of the famous Coonawarra and its terroir. Hollick have won numerous awards including the Rudi Kumon, Arthur Kelman, Robert Bryce and Jimmy Watson trophies.

Hollick Bond Road Chardonnay 2010
Light golden straw with lime tints. The bouquet is full of grapefruit and lime with hints of nectarine and white peach. An elegant and vibrant wine displaying green apple, pear, melon and nectarine. There is an underlying mineral tone which sits well with the finely textured and well balanced palate. Prawn and scallop tortellini with Chardonnay cream sauce served with a fresh herb salad. |

Hollick Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2008/2009
62% Shiraz & 38% Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense deep red/purple with crimson hues. Fruit aromas of plum and berries are enhanced by hints of violets, spice, chocolate and liquorice. Ripe dark berry fruit flavours of blackcurrants, mulberries and prunes. Subtle undercurrents of mocha, mint and black olives are complemented by the soft tannins and lingering finish. |

Hollick Wrattonbully Shiraz 2008
Deep crimson with pirple hues at the rim. Mulberry, plum, and blackberry fruit flavours with mocha and spice notes. Excellent structure and balance with soft acid and fine grained tannins. Try it with a vension, and temped hot pots. |

Hollick Coonawara Cabernet Sauvignon 2009/2010
Dense and dark crimson with purple hues at the rim. A powerful bouquet of cassis, blackcurrants and violets with hints of mint, cedar and dried herbs. It is a rich and powerful wine with layers of concentrated blackberries and plum flavours supported by hints of menthol and fine grained tannins. Paired well with rosemary encrusted rack of lamb with chunky oven roasted vegetables. |

Hollick The Nectar 2010/2011
Bright golden straw. Clean and fresh aromas of dried apricot and honey with citrus notes of grapefruit. A rich and luscious palate of concentrated stone fruit and citrus flavours. Complex and balanced, the sweetness is complemented by the acidity, culminating in a refreshingly pleasant and lingering finish. Serve chilled with vanilla bean panna cotta and citrus salad or a perfectly ripened soft cheese. |

Pale straw with green hues, this is an elegant wine with a gentle texture. It has bright aromas of melons and nectarines with a citrus twist. A crisp refreshing palate that displays tropical fruit flavors with crisp acids. |
