Estate
Seifrieds was established in 1973, when Hermann and Agnes Seifried planted grapes in the Moutere Valley between Nelson and Motueka. We currently have over 180 hectares of three producing vineyards. Each vineyard, with its own soil and climatic characteristics, is planted with different varieties, each producing an array of unique flavours. During the winemaking, great care is taken to preserve these grape varietal flavours through to the wine. New techniques and technology are also important features for us to staying innovative and competitive in the market, keep producing great wines for our lovers.

Seifried Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2010
Fresh gooseberry and herbal aromas are followed by a zesty, tropical fruit palate. Natural acidity runs through the palate giving concentrated mineral flavors and bright, steely nettle notes. This is a vibrant Sauvignon Blanc will long lasting flavors and a crisply balanced finish.

Seifried Nelson Pinot Noir 2009
The 2009 Seifried Pinot Noir is a delicate, elegant Pinot Noir. The nose is soft and mysterious with subtle savoury characters and ripe, juicy plums and a pinch of cinnamon. The palate has ripe succulent berry fruit notes and earthy dark chocolate complexity running alongside a supple tannin backbone.
