With over 100 years¡¯ experience in the world
of wine, at the start of 2006 the Roqueta family
invested in Vinicola del pais. This new project
has emerged with the backing of in-depth knowledge
of wine production and distribution to offer consumers
the best quality wines with home-grown grapes.
The company is based near Ciudad Real, in Alcazar
de San Juan, one of the best areas in Castile.
Its high altitude and generous soil are the perfect
symbiosis for the maturation of the fruit and
the favour of its wines.
Vinicola de Pais is supplied by 600 hectares of
vineyards with typical Spanish and foreign varieties,
including Temparanillo, Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvgion,
Macabeo, Airen and Syrah. Intense word in the
vineyard has guaranteed the fnal quality of the
grape. On each plot of land, and depending on
the characteristics of the soil and the climate,
just one grape variety has been adapted.
Also, the company¡¯s excellent facilities are
highly suited to producing wines that express
the unique personality of the area. They are born
of the passion for wine, in which the perfect
balance between the tradition and the modernity
of the world of wine is achieved.
